My Future Job

Hello, today I’ll write about the job I would like to have in the future.

As a public administration student, my future job will be oriented to public service. After graduating, I have two options in which I would like to work: at a municipality outside Santiago in the area of community development, or if I stay in Santiago, at the Ministry of Social Development.

I think it’s an interior job, in an office, although it can also be field work, I would like the both areas and travel if it’s necessary.

In the future, I would like to make a master in public policy at the University of Chile because it’s a wide professional field. After this, I would like to work in design and implementation of public policies because I believe that’s the way I could contribute to the welfare of society and contribute to a fairer society.

If I work outside Santiago, I consider that is an opportunity to generate changes somewhere with less resources and where the job would be a greater challenge, and I could contribute with the knowledge and tools learned in the course of my career somewhere that need it.

I hope in the future, to get this kind of job because it would make me happy to develop my vocation of public service.
